Timothy J. Runion, Consulting Associate

Tim Runion, an independent development consultant, became affiliated with Brakeley Briscoe in 2007. He is a veteran of twenty years as a fundraising professional, in both staff and consulting capacities. His current and recent Brakeley Briscoe clients include Lifespire, American-Scandinavian Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

He has been a development officer for a number of nonprofits, including Franklin College in Switzerland (operating their New York office), The Calhoun School, Trisha Brown Dance Company, and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. In several of those venues he has been involved in major gifts work as well as capital campaigns.

He has been an independent consultant since 2000, providing clients with development audits, pre-campaign feasibility and planning studies, and corporate and foundation grant applications and reporting. His clients have included the YMCA of Greater New York, ORBIS International, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International and the International Fund for Animal Welfare, as well as a number of non-profits in the United Kingdom.

Tim holds a B.A. from the University of Tennessee and has studied at The Juilliard School and Columbia University. He lives in Manhattan and has a second home in the Catskills.
