Laurent "Lo" de Janvry, Consulting Associate

Lo de Janvry is a specialist in analytics and the use of analysis to design fundraising, marketing and alumni relations programs. He has been in higher education marketing and development for over a decade. As Director of Strategic and Marketing Services at UC Berkeley, he grew the university's annual giving department to provide direct response marketing, market research, and data mining and modeling services campus-wide.

He has advised major universities, including Tulane, Michigan State, Santa Clara University, and University of Melbourne (Australia), on alumni relations, social networking, and predictive donor modeling.

Lo has presented at numerous regional, national and international conferences including CASE national and the American Marketing Association.

Lo has his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. Before entering higher education, Lo worked in the private sector in marketing, brand strategy and operational consulting for Arthur Andersen, Mars & Company's KalKan Foods, Del Monte Foods, and Prophet Brand Strategy.
