Laird Yock, Senior Consulting Associate

Laird Yock is a specialist in health care fundraising. His broad experience includes academic medical centers, premier health care systems and other leading health care institutions. His skills include campaign planning and management; major, principal and planned gifts development, and institution capacity building.

Laird’s consulting clients include the Foundation for Anesthesiology Education and Research (FAER), American College of Surgeons, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, University of San Francisco, and Oregon Health & Science University Foundation.

For 13 years he served as a senior development executive at Mayo Clinic and Foundation. His duties included serving as principal gifts officer; managing the planned giving program; building an alumni program; managing the $145 million annual individual giving program including oversight of 32 gift officers; and, as Vice Chair for Development, planning and managing Mayo’s capital campaigns.

As Vice President for Development at Joslin Diabetes Center, Laird planned and managed their first comprehensive campaign with a goal of $100 million.

At Brigham and Women’s Hospital he directed a program that raised $150 million in four years for the Cardiovascular Division.
